Marianna's Sub & Pizza sale. Price: $10 each.
Order from any Friends of the Library member,
or at the library's main desk.
The deadline for orders and payments is Friday, September 26

Do you love LEGOs? Do you enjoy creating things with those popular little blocks? If you are an elementary-age youth (grades K-5) who likes to build with LEGOs, this is the club for you! Join us on any Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. for a session of LEGO construction!

Are you a writer, or aspiring writer? Join our writers' group, Pen & Prose! Whether you write short stories, essays, poetry, or are trying to write the Great American Novel, get constructive feedback on your work in a safe, friendly environment. New to the group? Bring a sample of your writing, if you have one to share, for the group to discuss at the first meeting you attend. (No more than ten pages double-spaced, please!) We typically meet the 2nd Thursday of the month at 5PM.

Do you enjoy looking through old photos, sharing memories, and preserving local history? The Way We Were Club may be for you! The library now has thousands of photos and negatives, covering a multitude of subjects, we're received from Meyersdale's former New Republic newspaper. If you like technology, we can even show you how to scan photos for digital preservation! There is no set schedule for the club. It is up to members to decide when they want to come.
