It's been a long time coming, but here we are with our website redesign live and online! I hope you like it. You will find some areas very similar to the previous format. Others are “new and improved.” We are trying to make it easier for you to navigate, and for me to keep it updated with the latest library information. There are also security enhancements.
We apologize if you weren't able to access our website during the transition.
There are always glitches starting out, and one that we found and corrected was that the link for the Virtual Story Hour didn't work. That is fixed now -- just click on the program listing image.
Any website that’s actively managed is always something of a work in progress, and that’s particularly true of a newly designed one. We welcome your feedback as to what you like about it and what might make it better. Comments and suggestions may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. It will help if you tell us what browser you’re using and what kind of device – phone, tablet, laptop or desktop. There are limits to what we can do, but we want to offer the best website we can manage.
A library’s website is its virtual branch – the place through which library cardholders can access all the online content the library has to offer and access their library accounts to place holds and renew books. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to use our amazing resources – eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, maps, tutor.com, TumbleMath, and the wealth of resources provided by the state POWER Library.
Funding for the new website was graciously provided by the Meyersdale Wind Farm Fund and Benjamin Bosler Fund of Community Foundation for the Alleghenies.
